Running

“I always loved running – it was something you could do by yourself and under your own power. You could go in any direction, fast or slow as you wanted, fighting the wind if you felt like it, seeking out new sights just on the strength of your feet and the courage of your lungs.” -Jesse Owens

  • Starbucks on Line Avenue:  Saturday morning runners hit the pavement at 6:00 a.m.
  • Downtown Shreveport-Riverfront (across from Sci-Port):  On Mondays, regular group runs along the riverfront and Downtown Shreveport start at 5:30 p.m.
  • Track:  Interval and bleacher workouts are customary every Wednesday at 5:45 a.m. at Caddo Stadium
