The beautiful Louisiana backdrop, fantastic community, and ideal weather made for a special race. Congratulations to all Shrineman athletes. We hope that you cherish these moments for a lifetime. Also, a big thank you to all of the volunteers and sponsors for their steadfast support and work to ensure the best race experience for all.

Through the contributions of racers, sponsors, and volunteers, the race raised $18,000 for the Shriners Hospital for Children in Shreveport!

The overall winners of the half distance triathlon were Brian Miller (4:19:08) and Alison Miller (4:56:34), husband and wife from Fort Worth, Texas. The overall winners of the Olympic distance triathlon were Stephen Harvey (2:07:58) from Tyler, Texas and Angel Martin (2:24:51) from Bossier City, Louisiana. The overall winners of the AquaBike were Charlotte Dew (3:41:38) of Shreveport, Louisiana and Robert Holthus (3:43:01) of The Woodlands, Texas. And the overall winner of the half distance tri relay was If at First You Don’t Succeed, Tri, Tri Again (5:26:51).
