Shrineman-Olympic challenges triathletes with a mighty course and the only international distance triathlon in Shreveport-Bossier. Athletes begin their day with a 0.93-mile swim in Cross Lake, staged at the El Karubah Shrine. Next, racers cycle 24.8 miles on an out-and-back course with some rolling hills and beautiful Cross Lake as a backdrop.  Finally, athletes take on on a hilly and demanding 6.2 mile run course through Western Hills and Ford Park to the finish.
